Mend Proline TDC6a Switches Couple Minutes

Proline TDC6a Switches off after a couple of minutes?

Can anyone advise please? It appears to get warm, but switches off within a couple of minutes.

I have a Proline TDC6a tumble dryer which knocks off the electric supply when turned on, have run a pat tester on it and is showing a very low resistance, is it the heating element that is gone?

it sounds like it needs a good cleanout if you don't feel up to it as it involves dismantleing it you should call out an engineer
