hinari steam generator iron?

have had a hinari hin001 for four years no problems overnight I had no steam at all and the pipe that carries the hot water stayed cold,first I bought a new cartridge that didnt solve the problem have just done the self clean 6 times got better with each try thought it had not worked but glad to say it has.

my hynari steam digital steam iron has stopped working ,when i was in the middle of useing it no just went off and wont come back on ..also i have changed fuse whis hasnt done anything ?

hi , this is my 3rd steam iron and is not nearly as good as my last , i wont be buying this one again and im having trouble with the steam too .

Hi Louise

Is your model HIN001 if so self clean can be done by not connecting to the mains, remove water tank fill to max with cold water. Then replace water tank and set temp dial to min setting. plug in and switch on. wait for temp and stand by indicator to go out. hold iron over sink and press steam button for 3 mins. turn temp dial to max and iron damp old cloth to remove deposits from iron. Turn temp dial to min setting, turn off and unlug. remove and empty water tank. I have just purchased this model a little disappointed with it, does steam only emit from the top holes or could mine be faulty?
