RIDING MOWER BURN BELTS?

I HAVE A SEARS RIDING MOWER AND I REPLACED BLADE BELT AND IT JUST BURN OFF. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

The belt is either out of alignment or the pulleys that its trying to turn are stiff or completely seized. Also check that the belt is correctly routed and that any guide bars aren't catching.
