Mend Hotpoint VTD00 Noise Drum

what is wrong with my hotpoint aquarious dryer?

hi
i have a hotpoint aquarious dryer vtd00, a couple of weeks ago it was making a whining noise, now the drum has started making a thudding noise and it sounds like the drum is rubbing. it still does it when the machine has no washing in it. any suggestions??
