Hi the previous answer is correct in the siting of the lamp, take care not to touch any part of the microwave other than the lamp and its connections. lethal voltages are known to exist under fault conditions for months after a machine is unplugged. As for the reference to the reason for moulded lamps this is urban myth.

Turn off and unplug the microwave, remove all screws from back and remove casing, the light is at the front right, its is a sealed unit and will need to replaced, it is not just a light bulb, these were sealed after the early models revealed the microwave energy interfered with the electrical noise given off the lamps, many yrs ago
