Thomson Freeview DVB DTI 1000 No Guide?

I have one with the same problem. Low volume. Its a great box but maybe it will be time to say goodbye in the not too distant future. Shame as it knocks spots off the big brands and has served well. I will keep it even after i have decommissioned it as a spare.

Sorry, I have just checked. Your box doesnt support the 8K mode do there isnt anything you can do. Use it till it stops working perhaps.

There is also another possible cause. Try doing a full reset and full scan then go from there.

Depends on how old the freeview boxes are. If they are up gradeable they sound like they will need an software upgrade, which is done over the air but the units have to be plugged in and in standby to recieve it. Also, you have to go into setup and check automatic software update, or something similar is selected. Unfortunately, some sets wont be up gradeable and if you missed the download, they probably wont do them again. There is a website you can use which lists which sets are affected. Soz, cant give it here.
