Mend Ford Fiesta Zetec 09 Electrical

PLEASE HELP! HOW TO MEND IT. FORD FIESTA ZETEC 09?

Hi, my little son dropped a penny into the socket for the cigarette lighter and now it is not working - I only discovered this when i tried to use my sat nav this morning and it wouldn't work!!!!

Please could someone advise me what to do, or how to fix it - in laymans terms please!!!

Sounds like the penny shorted out the socket.Remove the correct fuse (handbook should tell you). Then you have got to get penny out. some coins can be got with small magnets otherwise you will need long tweezers. Check fuse and replace if needed.
