how do i fit a new drive belt on a whirlpool condenser dryer?

I removed the back panel torx head screws (you don't need to take out the two holding the electric cable in place), and then the panel which forms the back of the drum (with the heating element inside.) This was stiff and neaded a little bit of wiggling, the drum may drop slightly. Next I removed the black plastic cowling covering the fan, on mine this is in the bottom left as your looking at it from behind. gently prise the circlip apart which holds the fan in place on its axle, sliding the fan itself off, and then the rear plastic cowling. This exposes the axle and the two tentioning wheels above it. Place the belt around the axle and between the two wheels which should nip it together with the serated side facing inward. now wrap the belt around the drum and reverse previous steps. Check the alignment of the belt, turning the drum by hand once the drum back panel is in place.
There were three diferent types of screw in mine, worth trying to remember which comes from where.
This was a pain in the neck to do, but the belt only cost £8, and now the dryer works fine again.
