WHY IS CAR STARTING WITH NO CARD INSERTED ??

WHEN I TAKE OUT THE CARD AT THE END OF MY JOURNEY AND LOCK THE CAR THEN GET BACK IN TO START IT I DO NOT HAVE TO INSERT THE CARD IT IS STARTING BY JUST PRESSING THE START BUTTON ???
PLEASE HELP IS THERE SOMETHING I AM DOING WRONG ?
