MY GRAND CHILDREN WERE PLAYING WITH MY IBM LAPYOP AND NOW THE LOCK APPEARS IN THE LEFT HAND CORNER AND I CAN'T GET INTO THE COMPUTER..WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET IT UNLOCKED?
If it is the password in the security chip on the motherboard then it is a motherboard change I am afraid. ThinkPads have this security feature in order to turn stolen ThinkPads into scrap.
