ideal classic lxff ff fan flued gas boiler problem water pumping over ?
boiler works fine but will pump hot water through expansion pipe into header tank as fast as the pump is set (mainly on setting 2 or 3) any ideas to resolve problem.
see the boiler manual for correct fitting of feed and vent pipes- eg should they be into boiler tappings?

If Cold Feed Pipe and Vent Pipe are close coupled in the airing cupboard it is most likeley that there is a blockage in the small section of pipe between them, this is very common, the blocked section of pipe work should be cut out and cleared or repalced with new
