ideal classic with gledhill boilermate need help please?

boiler connected to boiler mate via flow and return including a primary pump.

pump for providing central heating system
pump for pumping store water through plate exchanger for h/w

the fact that the store is not heating but the boiler is fired and you get neither h/w or c/h then id be thinking primary pump but would expect your boiler to be on/off alot and banging.

is your boiler on/off more than usual, banging or anything?
