ideal classic with gledhill boilermate need help please?
my ideal classic stopped working fitted new fan all worked well for two months now boiler lights and stays fired up while calling for hot water but no hot water from taps and no heating,when switch to gledhill emergancy water that works all be it only warm water not hot.
any ideas as several local plumbers do not want to look at it!
boiler connected to boiler mate via flow and return including a primary pump.
pump for providing central heating system
pump for pumping store water through plate exchanger for h/w
the fact that the store is not heating but the boiler is fired and you get neither h/w or c/h then id be thinking primary pump but would expect your boiler to be on/off alot and banging.

is your boiler on/off more than usual, banging or anything?
