I put too many pieces of paper and it jambed - how do I pull out the paper

my shredder is model 950s....led lights up but nothing else happens. unit has been sitting a while and blades are a little rusty. no sound or anything happens.

sounds like you have paper somewhere in the track, or paper dust on the sensor. Try vacuuming out the paper access and the bottom side of the shredding mechanism. Look for any bits of paper stuck in the shredding teeth. Make sure you unplug the machine before doing anything around the blades.
