hotpoint wma 34 aquarius extra slowly fills with water even when turned off.i have replaced the inlet solinoid valve

Has your washer drain hose been connected to the u bend of your sink?

if it is, you need to raise the height of the hose between the washer and the sink u bend,fasten it just under the work top using the plastic hook.This WILL prevent back siphoning from the sink into the washer drum.
