Mend Weed Eater XT-400 Fuel Air Lines

How can I get fuel to my Primer?

I am having trouble getting fuel to the carb, the primer keeps sucking air there is nothing on either end of the fuel lines. I have a Weed eater model XT-400 gas trimmer.
