Mend Miele G 572 Dishwasher Cleaning Cycle

Miele g572 dishwasher?

The unit does not shut off at the completion of the cleaning cycle. The problem is that the heater stays on even if the door is opened. Changing the cycle dial position by rotating it to the rinse cycle does not shut off the heat when the door is open. The heater stays on indefinitely.
