Mend Bissell 9200 Vacuum Suction Repair

bissell 9200?

Used it for the fourth time (just over the two year warranty) and it blew up. Obvious sign of burn from brush motor, replaced that to no avail. Suction motor still works but no power to brush motor. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be. Think twice before buying this unit.
