How can I fix my Vaccum Cleaner?

My vacuum cleaner has suction for the canister, but not on the floor piece. How can I repair (no manual)?

I have a hoover wind tunnel. I am getting no pickup at the brush area. The 'snorkle' works just fine - plenty of suction. But none at the floor in ther brushes area. Brushes are turning. How do I tear it down to remove the clog?

I need to remove my Hoover handle to access the switch to fix the wire.

model U5043-930 series B.

The vac is not clogged I just need to access the switch for the repair. How do I get to the switch?

Hi if you have a dyson, it may just be the belt has broken ?
take the three star screws from the sole plate and you will find the belt compartment if the belt has not broken, then it must be blocked, clean out the narrow compartment where the belt is housed. Hope this helps.
