The pilot light on my britony 2 water heater keeps going out and it takes several attempts to relight it again. Is this a straightforward thing to fix and what parts would I need to order?
check that the fan is running at low speed when it is in standby mode.

There could be a couple of issues here....first, the thermocouple that keeps the flame lit may be breaking down, but if the boiler lights up again thats unlikely. Probably the pilot light jet needs a clean and the gas pressure checked.
