my big screentv rca 57inch 3 years old?

my hdtv rca 57 inch i go to turn it on the power button on the tv blinks 3 times the tv does not come on.the power button goes out then if you try it again it does the same thing .i waited 2 days turned it on it came on for 6or7 days it worked now it wont come on power butten flashes 3 times goes out
