how can i fix Mitsubishi Colt 55 reg glove box?

glove box lock mechanism not working, i cant CLOSE it.
How can i remove the front cover to mend the lock?
MITSUBISHI COLT 1.1 3DR REG 55.

Hi all!

I have had the same problem with mine colt, but it is easily can be fixed.

The front cover of the glove box is fitted with a kind of addhesive tape or glue so you can remove it if you use a I-shape screwdiver or somethig to detach the cover from the inside of the glove box.

when it is done you just need to fully remove the cover and there you will find the latch.

Had the same problem- its a design fault, (they did a re-call) for cars under warrenty, I bought 4 heavy duty adeshive magnets, which held the glove box closed, a treat.
