put the new rubber on the glass,(make sure it is on the right way, flat side facing outwards, check with oppasite side)on the other side of the rubber there will be a lip, you need to thread thin rope into this lip then go all the way round the rubber, makeing sure the rope is in the lip,you then match the glass/rubber to the hole(from outside)making sure the ends of the rope are inside the car,(it`s advisable to put wasing up liquid round the rubber where the rope is),putting a bit of pressure on the outside of the glass(to stop it from moving),you pull one end of the rope,(keeping it close to the glass when pulling)this should then start to lip the rubber over the rim of the apperture & put the glass into position, can be a bit tricky but you will get it if you keep trying.
