i have a 1999 ford galaxy and a few days ago i had my drivers side rear door window smashed.i got a window from the breakers yard and fitted it myself,however when i press for the window to go up when it gets to the top it automatically comes back down
get window closed by using switch in halfway position (ie not pulling switch all the way up) when window closed hold switch up for 5 seconds and release, do the same twice more and it should learn the position

they do need to learn closed position as already mentioned

try putting it up a little at a time until fully closed then hold in up position for 20secs
