how can i fix a cam belt?

Needs checking as valves/head/pistons/con-rods may be damaged.
I wouldn't just replace the cambelt and hope for the best.
If its a diesel damage is almost certain.
If its a petrol you could be, just could be, lucky.
But of course, you don't tell us anything about what engine you have, do you?
