Mend Hotpoint WF250 Washing Machine Starts Stops

what can be wrong with my hotpoint wf250 washing machine?

my hotpoint washing machine starts to wash the cloths then stops with the reduce crease light, time saver and on/off flashing when it gets to the rinse/spin cycle. Been told its the filter, so i cleared the filter and pipes and pump but still not working.
