If it is a Mitsubishi HD 1080, mine did the same thing. I had to send it in to get repaired and is cost me 324.00 to fix it. Only had it 2 years and spent over $2000.00 on it. I contacted Mitsubishi and they ignored me. I contacted the BBB to see if they could help. Good Luck!

Usually caused by a major component failure like the flyback trnasformer. Not a DIY project.
