I have a Stoves Newhome Electric Cooker model EC600 DO DLm?

The glass top has cracked and woul dlike to know whether it can be replaced

hello sandie. The EC600 has the most powerful elements on the RHS, at FrontRHS=1630W and RearRHS=1345W. The element in the 'energy regulator'(a thermostatic device mounted on the back on the control knob) blows O/C because of natural ageing. If your EC600 model number is 059040100 then you can get a replacement from www.espares.co.uk OR www.buyspares.co.uk, at about £30 + post. From espares, type in ES508989 to go directly to the device, or 30ER15HT from buyspares.
Then of course, you will have to fit it. Push on terminals make it very easy. good luck.
