Mend Troy-Bilt Bronco

Troy Bilt Bronco, Grinding Reverse?

My Troy Bilt Bronco after heavy forward use makes a loud grinding noise when I put it into reverse.

It does not happen when the mower is cold.

If it's the drive belt I'm going to give belt "dressing" or "conditioner" a try.

The tires rotate without making noise so I suppose it cannot be the differential.
