Mend Parkhurst 150w/500w Light Properly Setting

security light not working properly?

replacing Parkhurst 150w/500w security floodlight with new one. Followed instruction. when setting the sensor range for the first time in day light the light should go off after a minute or so thereafter you can adjust to suit. Alas the light stays on and flickers every 20 seconds or so. I cannot find any loose connections. Any ideas?

I have the same problems with mine. Someone adviced me either purchase one from Homebase or Wickes. Going there now, hope I am not dissapointed.

my answer is they are a rubbish product i have
bought and fixed four of theses things and
they all fail after a month or so......they either
stay on for hours even in broad daylight or switch on and off every second till the bulb burns out
..............my advice GO TO HOME BASE

I have just purchased a Parkhurst security floodlight and have exactly the same problems with setting up the system.

I had exactly the same problem and B&Q replaced it with a new light and still got the problem! thinking of going to homebase.
