fridge freezer not working/electrolux?

i own an electrolux frost free fridge freezer, have noticed that the items in the fridge are not getting cold, also now the freezer items are defrosting, the light is still on in the fridge so... please can you let me know what could be the problem, thanks!

if the compressor is running but everything is defrosting (fridge and freezer compartment) then you could have lost the gas from the system or compressor is faulty.both of these repairs can be costly
