how to reset Scantronic alarm 9427?

Hi my alarm system 9427 we inherited. The code has been used a few times over years but we never activate/set alarm. This past few days the outside box is doing its usual green blinking light, but a low alarm sound is coming from outside box nothing indoors or panel ? I ve typed reset/ disarm code an enter# but it only randomly works . I’ve even set alarm off and reset but it’s hit or miss if low level stops. Thanks

I have moved in to a house with scantronic 9427, there are no lights on it and I have no idea how it works or how to reset it. Any advice please?

Kamel solution spot on just to say there is no # button so I just pressed botton right button the one displaying an arrow and it worked a treat

if the key box shows tamper at N9 I how can you help me stop alarm go off please

The new code should then set the alarm

i dont know my original code i have tryed variouse ones that it could of been but the only code that works is 1234 but it does not set my alarm if i go out it alarm automaticaly goes off after 2o sec

can you help me i have had to replace the fuse in the alarm box that is situated on my landin since doin that the alarm is all key pad and all is well but the code that will only shut it off is 1234 i cant find the manual on how to use it as it was some years ago that we had it installed please can you give me any tips on how to use it again many thank

Your original code will still be programmed into the system, because scantronic panels are fitted with NVMs which hold the system programming even after complete power failure.
Power your system down mains first the battery.The cable your neighbour has disconnected should be reconnected then power your system up again battery first, your original code will then work the system.
