how do i fix my black & decker quattro multi tool {battery bay}?

the area where the battery has two bare cables in it but there is not a clip or anything to send the power to the drill.

It sounds like the connection inside the batter housing there is two or three connections they my have broken look at the diagrams on this website this will help you
