Mend Rover Cav2.0Sri Alternator Battery Lights

electrical fault cav2.0sri 1994?

im on my 3rd alternator in 2 months,1 new battery,all lights go mad,rev conter goes mad ,engine management comes on then flat battery,could it be ive been unlucky wih alternater from scrap yard or is there a known fault with these cars .
