Hi I have a problem with my Heatline S24 boiler, The power is on but the fault on air preasure switch light is flashing. after reading the manual several times I have come to the conclusion that even if the switch is faulty the fan should be running when there is a demand for water, but it isn't going. so would the fan being broken give the same fault light?
we are an approved agent for heatline , the problem that you have we are almost sure it is the pcb board , part no 3003200010

I don't know your boiler but the general theme is that the fan runs first and the air pressure switch detects the fan running and the integrity of the case seal - if the switch senses that it's all OK then the lighting up process begins.
No fan = no pressure switch = do not continue firing up.

Thanks for the reply
I thought the fan was meant to run tho, I guessed the switch is simply a relay that clicks on when presure is applied to it so i tried manually bypassing it by joining the two wires through a fuse but this had no effect?

I suspect you have a faulty air pressure switch. Blowing into the air pressure tubes may do the trick. Remember to connect them back the correct way.
