leak in the washing machine...!! hoover nextra optima?

I have a hoover nextra washing machine and there is a leak in what seems to be a hole in the molded casing. The hole is one that was there and hasn't just appeared. Any idea's please??
It is located to the right of the drum (from the back) and on the opposite side from the motor. I could take and send a picture..
