how can i fix my electrolux vitesse & reach vacuum cleaner?

how can i fix my electolux viteese & reach vacuum clearner. It sucks up the dirt but does not filter into the bagless container. I have cleared the pipe and there does not seem to be a blockage in the pipe. But it will fill up again and overhear and cut out.

just had mine apart , found the air sucked in is used to cool the motor , and then it tries to get out past the black paper located in the grills on the front ... found the paper was all gunged up and blocking the air flow , took all the paper out and improved the ventilation by making the small cover stand proud by putting washers under the 2 screws holding it ..... works better now !!!!

throw it away, sorry for the useless advice but mine is the same and the helpline is more like a phone number you ring to simply push your patience to its limits.
they simply say change the filter..... wash it....... hmmmm I'm literally washing it every time i vac up
