How to fix a snowblower auger?

What is the best way to take apart a murray 800 series, to replace the auger

model 521 toro snow blower impeller spins but auger does not spin under snow conditions and very roughly without snow

Most likely it is your shear pin that snapped due to heavy snow.....you can goto your local hardware store and just purchase a basic bolt (cannot remember size) but it is a better bet to purchase the proper shear pin from a Toro dealer or the Toro website. The shear pin has tensile strength that will give in case of over burdening the engine or if something gets caught in the auger. Just find your model number and other relevant data on the blower.
