Try using the function button with an F-key, i have used an Advent 5311, which was [fn] + [f10]

On my machine (Dell) Function (Fn) with F2 does this.
You might also try navigating to Network Connections (settings - Control Panel) and Right Clicking on the Wireless Icon. Select View Available Wireless Networks - one of them will be yours (I can see several in nearby houses) and connect to it...
