How do I get access to the filter ?

the filter is HIDDEN inside the large black pipe that leaves the bottom of the outer drum

WARNING you must get rid of the excess water first or you will have a mess
try putting the drain hose into a bowl and lower it to the ground, water should flow out by gravity be prepared to empty the bowl .When water stops remove the lower rear panel and you will see the hose, with a old towel underneath squeeze the tails of the clamp together wiggle the clamp down the pipe then remove the hose, clean out the filter and then reassemble the parts
