How can I fix my Hamilton Beach toaster that only toasts on the left side?

There will be two heating elements and one of them is defective and probably open circiuit and very probably need replacing - you will have two problems - the physical dismantling and remantling - finding a new element of the correct or similar specification.

You should brace yourself to say goodbye to your toaster.
