Mend Hotpoint Aquarius Door Cycle

Hotpoint door locked light constantly flashing so cannot continue cycle?

My power in my houe tripped mid cycle with my hotpoint aquarius, now the door locked light keeps flashing even though the door is securely closed, I cannot continue with any cycle, I have tried turning the power off for a couple of hours but this hasn't helped either
