Mend Water Tank Screw

what can i use to stop the water tank from leaking at the screw on area ? ?

water tank leaking at the screw on area. cant rempove due to rust inside and out on the screw bolt. what product could i sue to cover the area inside the tank tried several no success thanks

Nothing will really work here, so don't fiddle with it and budget for this tank to be replaced with a modern plastic one - together with a proper brass tank outlet fitting. I presume this is a galvanised steel tank, up in the loft?
