VW Touran 2005 tailgate lock problem?

The latch of my tailgate is broken and boot don't want to lock any advise

I had a similar problem a little while back.

My problem was caused by the bolts holding the lock in place coming loose. All I had to do to fix it was open the tailgate, remove the inner cover and screw the bolts down nice and tight. A little lock tight or some thing like it may stop it happening again.
