how can i open petrol door on renault laguna?

Went to the garage but i couldnt open the petrol door, came home and tried to get through the boot was unable to, can you help please.

On mine there is a red handle in beside the right rear light bulbs.
Just remove the access panel, there might be a bit of insulation stuff you have to remove to see the handle.
