Megane Alize child lock rear passenger door/exterior handle nt working?

I have got a Megane Alize 1.6 and unfortunately one of my friends managed to turn the child lock on on that door (back left door).

The exterior handle doesn't work - something that I noticed before but assumed it was normally because i tried to open it in the morning when it was freezing cold and later on the day seemed to work fine (coincidence or not I'm not so sure).

The problem is now that I can't open the door through the inside because the child lock is on and I can't open it through the outside because the handle doesn't seem to do anything.

I took it to my local Renault garage and they charge me £75 just to look at it then labour costs and parts obviously.

I thought about taking the inside panel off and having a look but with the back seat on the way i can't reach one of the screws...


Anyone had a similar problem or that can tell me how to take that seat off and the door panel? And if I do take the door panel off, would I be able to reach the child lock flick thing?
