Mend Audi Gamma Turns Power Checked

How can I fix an Audi Gamma cassette radio?

The radio turns on, but the stations do not show, then the power fades - I have checked the fuses, all ok.
When I turn the volume up is when the problem occurs and the signal fades completely.

I have an Audi 1995 A6 - and was informed I would have to replace the complete system including, wiring, speakers -

I have a 1995 Audi A6 with the Audi Gamma CC radio. The on/off switch failed and I bought a rebuilt one in 2000. Now the on/off switch failed in that one too. When I turn off the ignition, the radio stays on. I must turn the radio off with the on/off switch and that is why it fails....too much usage.
