i've lost all tv info on the tv guide menu?

i had a problem with the picture freezing a few days ago and now i've lost tv information on the tv guide menu.

my box updates at 3am every night. if your box is never put on standby or if you turn it off at the plug every night it will not update your tv guide and listings over a period of time, so they get outdated. hope this is the answer your looking for
