Mend Thetford C200 Leak Removed Coming

Rainwater leak around waterfill for my thetford c200 toilet?

Having removed the toilet, I can now see that rainwater appears to be coming in around the flush fill inlet. The wooden frame for the inlet is wet and parts appear rotten. Any suggestions please.

One way of testing if it is entering via the top of the cassette door is to cover the door with plastic sheeting tape it on with Duck tape , if it still gets wet it may be the flush water leaking out somewhere.
