I have just removed my radiators to do some decorating. When I had finished I put the radiators back on, connected them back up.
The pressure on the boiler was 5.8. I opened the bleed value on the radiator to fill it again. The pressure on the boiler dropped to 3.6. I slowly opened the blue tap at the bottom of the boiler. Water started leaking / coming from a brass, what looked like a value. This brass object was to the left and up a bit and was connected to the blue tap.
I hope this makes sense to someone
Do I need to do anything else the re-pressurise the system after filling a radiator.
Any help would be great.

Found a manual. The brass valve is a ‘reduced pressure zone valve’. The blue tap is the ‘filling loop tap’. With the reduced pressure the boiler fires and heats the water to the hot taps around the house. There is no leak. When I turn this ‘filling loop tap’ to add more pressure to the system then the ‘reduced pressure zone valve’ then let water out of the bottom of it. I don’t understand what a reduced pressure valve does. Everything was working fine before I took the rads off.

a very common problem with the cxi. if It does not leak when the boiler is in operation then it will be fine. If it does then the brass valve you refer to will have to be replaced. I think glowworn call it someting like a "disconnector" but its just a non-return valve and for some odd reason it have hole in the side which lets water out if it does not seal completely
