Mend Qualcast Lawnraker 35 Switch Cover Small

on swtich lever on my Qaulcast lawnraker 35?

On removing the on/off switch cover a small lever spring was lying inside. Manually the on/off switch works but i cannot figure out where the spring fits. Can anyone help.
